
French spiderman charged after Sydney climb
Police have charged the man known as the French Spiderman after he climbed to the top of a skyscraper in Sydney's CBD this morning.
Alain Robert was arrested as soon as he reached the top of the 57-storey Lumiere Building on Bathurst Street about 10.50am (AEST) while onlookers applauded.

The 48-year-old took 20 minutes to scale the skyscraper without safety equipment.
He has been charged with risking the safety of others and will appear in a Sydney court later this week.
